Brizze Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Brizze ("the App"), operated by Nanoologi, collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. We collect only what is needed to run the App and never sell your personal data.

1. Using the App Without an Account

Signing in is entirely optional. You can browse the map, view live and forecast wind conditions, and use the App without creating an account. Brizze does not collect or use your device's location — the map is not centered on you, and no location data is read or stored.

2. Information We Collect If You Sign In

If you choose to sign in with Google, Apple, or email, we store the following in your account profile:

  • Your name and email address, as provided by your chosen sign-in method;
  • Your sign-in provider (Google, Apple, or email/password);
  • Your in-app preferences — display theme, language, preferred wind-speed unit, and whether push notifications are enabled;
  • A push-notification device token, if you enable notifications, so we can deliver wind alerts to your device. This token is removed when you sign out on that device.

3. Push Notifications

If you enable notifications, the App registers your device with Apple's or Google's push notification service and with Firebase Cloud Messaging so we can send you wind alerts. You can disable notifications at any time in the App's settings or your device's system settings.

4. Diagnostics and Crash Reporting

We use Firebase Crashlytics to automatically collect crash and error diagnostic data (such as device model, OS version, and crash stack traces) when the App fails unexpectedly. This helps us find and fix bugs. This data is not linked to your name or email.

5. In-App Purchases

Brizze uses RevenueCat to support in-app purchases. This service is initialized when the App starts, which may share a device identifier with RevenueCat, Inc. even if you never make a purchase. If you do make a purchase, RevenueCat and the applicable app store process the transaction on our behalf; we do not receive or store your payment card details.

6. Third-Party Service Providers

We rely on the following service providers to operate the App. Each processes data under its own privacy policy:

  • Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Messaging, Crashlytics, Remote Config) — account storage, push delivery, diagnostics, and app configuration;
  • Google Maps SDK — renders the interactive map. The SDK includes location-capable components, but Brizze does not enable or use device location through it;
  • RevenueCat — manages in-app purchases, as described above;
  • Apple and Google — process Sign in with Apple / Google Sign-In and, where applicable, in-app purchases through their respective platforms.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account exists. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at the address below; we will action deletion requests within a reasonable time.

8. Your Choices

  • You can use the App without ever signing in.
  • You can sign out at any time, which removes that device's push-notification token from your account.
  • You can disable notifications at any time in Settings.
  • You can request a copy of, or the deletion of, your account data by contacting us.

9. Children's Privacy

Brizze is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above.
